The Background Story
From West to East, then back again
I've been working on golf courses since the age of 16. I moved to New Jersey at the age of 20 to begin schooling for Professional Turfgrass Management at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. After Schooling, I interned at the #1 rated golf course in the world "Pine Valley Golf Club" in Pine Valley, New Jersey. I was asked to remain at Pine Valley at the end of my internship, and promoted to an Assistant position where I remained the following 3 years. I loved working at Pine Valley, and wouldn't trade that experience and knowledge I gained for the world. But the East Coast wasn't where I belonged, and it was time to move back West.
March 2013 - June 2016
Pine Valley Golf Club - Assistant Superintendent
Pine Valley Golf Course is a privately operated facility in South Jersey. I started work at Pine Valley during the centennial anniversary of the golf course in 2013, when it was rated #1 over Augusta National by Golf Digest. Pine Valley sits on roughly 650 acres, which include a ten hole short course, and an enormous practice facility. Pine Valley also hosts Crump Cup every September, which is a premier mid-amateur invitational tournament.
June 2016 - Dec 2017
Conestoga Golf Club - Assistant Superintendent
Conestoga is a public resort style golf course, where I currently reside as Head Golf Course Superintendent. Conestoga is a challenging course to maintain, with heavy clay soils and an extremely short growing season. Wall to wall ryegrass overseeds are performed annually every September with no outside resources. Irrigation management, along with proper cultural practices to help relieve compaction and improve drainage are some of the biggest focuses on this property.
Dec 2017 - June 2018
Entrada at Snow Canyon - Assistant Superintendent
Entrada is a private country club in St. George, UT. I started my career at Entrada as a greenskeeper back in 2009, I've climbed the ladder since and ended up back at the place where it all began some 8 years later. Entrada taught me about the brutal, yet rewarding nature of growing grass in the desert southwest. It instilled a quality of detail and organization that helped get me where I am today.
Introducing Conestoga

The in's and out's
Conestoga Golf Club is an 18-hole public resort style golf course. The course was built in 2009, with USGA Spec. TifDwarf Bermudagrass greens and Tifway 419 Bermudagrass fairways, tees, and rough. This is a well-maintained golf course that hosts approximately 35-40k rounds per year, and overseeds wall to wall for winter play. It was voted “Most improved public golf course” by Golf Inc. in 2017, and best golf course in mesquite in 2020 and 2021 by the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce.
