Compaction relief:

Today, along with our daily maintenance routines, we are aerifying traffic areas. Cart traffic and foot traffic are big concerns for plant health. With increased rounds, and increased cart traffic from single riders, we are experiencing a decline in turf health quicker than normal this year.

To help prevent our heavy cart traffic areas from becoming bare, we are aerifying these areas, pulling plugs to relieve the compaction that is created from the constant traffic, sweeping the plugs up behind the aerification, then fertilizing and watering these areas in to help promote aggressive growth.
