Today we are topdressing greens. Incorporating the appropriate USGA spec sand into the greens profile on a regular basis is very important. This practice helps with keeping the greens smooth, diluting thatch and organic matter build up, and helps protect the crown of the grass plant from traffic and golf ball impact.

We have been working on making new tee markers for the course in house. This is a project that our equipment manager Nick has taken on, and we are very happy with the results that he has come up with. The design is a half inch sheet of HDPE plastic, carved into the shape of a wagon wheel. Some details are still in the works, but we should have a final product within the next couple of weeks.
